C’est ce que doit se dire Laura, une working-girl qui a tiré les mauvaises cartes : Catherine, une mère invasive et autoritaire ; Raymond, un père inexistant qui survit entre petites magouilles et arnaques de quartier ; Julien son petit-ami, un “adulescent” qui passe ses journées à regarder des séries, à jouer sur sa console et à lui mentir sur sa recherche d’emploi. Fatiguée de tout gérer, elle décide de modifier la donne. Afin de changer le comportement de Julien, elle organise une rencontre entre lui et son père, qu’elle fait passer pour un grand PDG obnubilé par le travail. Mais Raymond prend des initiatives rocambolesques qui transforment cette simple rencontre en un cauchemar sans fin pour Julien.
